The Challenge: A fintech start-up launches in the payments space

In 2016, Digitzs a new concept in a niche of the payments space needed full marketing support and a brand framework for its launch.

Digitzs had an immediate need to raise their awareness among potential clients and investors, as they were moving towards their first raise on the Crowdfunder platform.

The Solution:

As the Chief Marketing Officer, I worked closely with the CEO and the Dev team along with Sales to move quickly to create a buzz throughout the payments and fintech industry by launching at TRANSACT 16. Once that was completed, Digitzs launched on the Crowdfunder platform.

  • Developed brand frameworks, target personas &customer journey maps.

  • Developed website and content.

  • Go-to-market strategy.

  • Integrated marketing campaigns.

  • Developed original content, “Platforms Rock” Vlog, with futurist and influencer Ben Way.

  • Media campaign, resulting in trade and business media coverage.

The Results:

  • Exceeded original crowdfunding goal on Crowdfunder and raised over $2 million.

  • #1 spot in the CNBC Crowdfinance Index, making it the only women led company to do so (2017).
    • Established robust social media presence
    • Ranked #3 during the company launch at TRANSACT 16, social media and PR coverage.
